Mike Shinoda from Linkin Park says, “Black Violin is one of a kind… Incredible!”

With influences from classical composers such as Shostakovich and Bach to contemporary hip-hop icon Jay-Z, Black Violin blends the classical with the modern in a compelling and truly unique musical style. Mike Shinoda’s association with Black Violin began when he invited Black Violin along on a world tour with his wildly popular hip-hop side project, Fort Minor. Rob about Thanksgiving day
No commentsRob in his blog talks about Linkin Park celebrating Thanksgiving Day in Japan last year.
With Thanksgiving coming up on Thursday (November 27th), the members of Linkin Park say they’re thankful just to be home for the holiday. Last year at this time, the band was on the road and drummer Rob Bourdon told us he’s glad the situation is different this time: "We’re excited to be home to see our families and hang out with friends and all that, ’cause last Thanksgiving we were in Japan. Our agent had booked a show and we ended up having Thanksgiving at Roy’s in Japan, and the chefs there were kind enough to kind of throw together the best version of Thanksgiving dinner that they could. Some of the stuff they nailed, but some of the stuff was just not quite what you get at home."

Linkin Park became the first group to surpass 4,000,000 fans on iLike , here’s a message from Mike .
Most of you probably already know iLike , the music-based social network, from your experiences on Facebook. Over the weekend, Linkin Park became the first group to surpass 4,000,000 fans on iLike. This is the largest number of fans that have gathered together in support of one artist on a single social platform. Earlier this year, our Linkin Park widget (seen at the bottom of my main blog page) crossed the "100 Million Views" threshold. Now, with the success on iLike, I wanted to take another second to say "thank you" to all of you that support the band and enjoy the music. My band and the people at iLike are thrilled about this amazing achievement. We will be hopefully announcing a special event to celebrate. Stay tuned! Thanks, Mike!

LP at American Music Awards 2008
No commentsUPDATE from Brad ’s Blog :
Thank you SO much for your continued support of our band. We’ve been making music as Linkin Park for almost a decade, and, in that time, your collective dedication has never waned. We’re so honored to have won an American Music Award last night, and are incredibly grateful to everyone who voted for us online. We worked for a year and a half to make Minutes to Midnight, and spent an additional eighteen months on tour supporting it. I hope you enjoy the album as much as I still do.
Happy Thanksgiving and Happy Holidays.

Linkin Park Photo’s in the studio
No commentsMike enjoy us with another message on his blog :
It was just Brad and me in the studio this week, but we did get a visit from Mr. Bourdon the drum head. I took these with my phone. The other guys came in for our weekly Monday meeting, to review and discuss the songs’ progression. The rest of the week Brad and I tried to figure out how to ruin the songs, HAHA. Everything is going well.
The photos you can see directly on his site !
